Cookery Classes
One of the highlights of going to school in Scoil na gCailíní is being able to learn how to cook in 6th class. Every child in the school longs for the day she will be in the senior class when she will get this opportunity.
As part of our healthy lifestyle approach to teaching, we emphasise "Real Life Skill" which is why we employ Mrs. Patsy Mc Cabe to teach the 6th class to prepare healthy meals for themselves when they go to college and also for their families in the future.
Of course Cookery Class is not all about cooking, somebody always has to do the cleaning up!!
The next cooking classes to commence for 6th class will be in May, 2009.
