Dear Parents/Guardians,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your child back to school! It's hard to believe that we are about to begin yet another new academic year! In particular I would like to give a special and warm welcome to our parents & guardians and pupils in Rang 2, and indeed to all other new pupils and parents & guardians.
We are very proud of the excellent work which goes on at Scoil na gCailíní and I am very excited about the year which lies ahead. I have no doubt that your child will have a happy, busy and successful year.
Should you need to contact me, please do not hesitate to make an appointment via Mrs Deasy, our school secretary. As I am a teaching principal, I'm sure you can appreciate that appointments will be made outside of teaching time.
As you are aware we have to put in place, provision for the prevention of swine flu. Please read carefully the material which has been sent home. Again, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
